PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable plasma display device. SOLUTION: The reference potential of a control signal to be supplied from a drive control circuit is converted into the reference potential of an output element by a signal transmission circuit in a pre-driving circuit, and is amplified by a signal amplifier circuit and then is supplied to the output element, thus it is made possible to transmit the control signal to the output element with the reference potential insulated therefrom, even if the reference potential of the drive control circuit and the control signal is different from that of the output element, and also prevent voltage fluctuations or the like of the output element from influencing the drive control circuit.
