PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problems that a structure of a conventional fishhook in which the point is bent toward the inner surface in order to make a fish readily swallow a bait has disadvantages, a bait is easily disgorged as a result of low resistance and the fish is frequently lost when the fish holds the bait in the mouth and feels a sense of a foreign matter such as the fishhook to disgorge the bait to the outside of the mouth. SOLUTION: This fishhook is obtained by bending the point including a U-shaped hook part of the fishhook to the lateral side relatively to the hook base part and forming the point and bending the point of the fishhook to the outside relatively to the hook base part and forming the point. Thereby, the fishhook is hardly disgorged and capable of enhancing the probability of thrusting the point to the fish body and improving fishing results.
