PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow exhaust type turbine device suitable for reducing losses generated at a thrust bearing part. SOLUTION: This axial flow exhaust type turbine device (steam turbine device) 1 is provided with a turbine shaft 2 supported at a closer position to a drive side end part by a journal bearing 5, and supported by a journal bearing 4 and a thrust bearing 3 at a closer position to a counter-drive side end part, compared to the conventional devices. For the diameter of the turbine shaft 2, a part supported by the journal bearing 5 is set thicker than a part supported by the journal bearing 4, and a part supported by the thrust bearing 3 is set thinner than the part supported by the journal bearing 4. A thermal expansion base point of the turbine shaft 2 is located at the thrust bearing 3.
