PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for predicting the time point of melt spout through tap hole in blast furnace are provided to accurately predict melt spout using temperature variation of discharge melt occurred at the last operation stage in the tapping process of discharging melt inside the furnace during operation of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for predicting the time point of melt spout through tap hole in blast furnace comprises a rotation driving part(41) in which a shaft(12) connected onto the upper surface of a unit base(11) fixed to the bottom of case house so that the shaft(12) is rotated by first driving motor(13); a vertical moving part(42) in which a rotation arm(20) is vertically movably connected to the shaft(12), and a screw shaft(19) supported by upper and lower supporting plates(9-1,9-2) adhered to upper and lower ends of the shaft(12) and rotated by second driving motor(16) spirally penetrates the rotation arm(20); angle adjusting part(43) and length adjusting part(44) in which a supporting shaft(24) is connected to the side surface of the rotation arm(20) so that the supporting shaft(24) is rotated by third driving motor(21), and a boom cylinder(26) moved back and forth by a driving cylinder(27) is inserted into a boom(25) adhered to the supporting shaft(24); and a temperature measuring part(30) comprising an outer casing(31) fixed by a bending support(28) fixed to the boom cylinder(26), an inner casing installed inside the outer casing(31) to form a water jacket therebetween, an inner pipe in which radiation thermometry and glass filter are installed, and which is installed inside the inner casing to form a nitrogen purge passageway therebetween, and a nitrogen guiding plate connected to nitrogen guiding hole of the inner pipe.
