PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by enabling stacking of a plurality of paper sheets, in a manual paper feeding device of a type of stacking only one sheet having no automatic paper separation mechanism. SOLUTION: In the manual paper feeding device 5, an auxiliary tray 8 is arranged at a rear side in a paper feeding direction of a main tray 7. The main tray 7 is hollow, and the auxiliary tray 8 can be almost stored inside the main tray 7. A step 9 is arranged to a rear end of the main tray 7, and an inclined part 10 is arranged in the vicinity of a center of the step 9. The inclined part 10 is provided with a pad 11 having a frictional force.
