PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency fluorescent lamp that does not give a sensor of incongruity even if used mixed with a general purpose white fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: This is a fluorescent lamp that has a chromaticity value (x, y) of its luminous light color within the permissible chromaticity range as expressed in the formula: a.x2+b.y2+c.x.y+d.x+e.y+f=0 (a=0.50972, b=0.60969, c=-0.81074, d=-0.067424, e=-0.16724, f=0.044577), and DUV is 10 or more on plus side. A mixture of phosphor that contains a rare earth phosphor of blue, green and red color and an antimony.manganese activated calcium halo-phosphate phosphor is applied on the inner face of the glass tube of the fluorescent lamp. Out of the phosphor mixture, the rare earth phosphor occupies 50-100 wt.% and the rest is occupied by antimony.manganese activated calcium halo-phosphate phosphor.
