PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper re-feeing device capable of enhancing a jam disposal efficiency. SOLUTION: The paper re-feeding device 7 is provided with a pair of paper discharge rollers 29 for switching back and feeding out a paper sheet S every at one sheet from an image forming part 5 for forming an image on the paper sheet S fed from a paper feed part 3, and a paper re-feed roller part 30 for re-feeding the paper sheet to the image forming part while clamping the paper sheet S from a pair of paper discharge rollers 29. The device 7 is provided with a cover 39 for retaining the paper re-feed roller part 30, and a driving gear 43 fixed to a roller shaft 33a of the paper re-feed roller part 30. When the cover 39 is in the closed state, the driving gear 43 is engaged with a transmission gear 45 for transmitting a driving of a motor. When the cover 39 is in the opened state, an engagement of the driving gear 43 and the transmission gear 45 is released and the driving gear 43 becomes freely rotatable.
