PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition with which an excellent bond strength between the composition and an adherend can be obtained without coating the adherend with an adhesive. SOLUTION: This rubber composition comprises (A) a rubber composed of at least one of an ethylene-propylene-diene ternary copolymer and an ethylene-propylene copolymer, (B) a peroxide vulcanization agent, (C) a resorcinol-based compound and (D) a melamine resin.
