PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment, which has a function for switching a telephone set and a facsimile and can save a space. SOLUTION: In a body 1 of a facsimile, an externally controllable relay 21 is provided in a primary side circuit 22 of a DAA 2 and an external telephone set 26 is parallel connected. Thus, a facsimile (telephone line 25) and the external telephone set 26 can be simultaneously connected by one telephone line.
