MEASURING METHOD FOR CHLOROUS ACID ION CONCENTRATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method whose measuring time can be shortened as compared with that in conventional cases by a method wherein a chloride and an acid for pH-value adjustment and metal ions or metal component ions having an oxidation force are added to test water and ClO2- contained in the test water is changed into ClO2 so as to detect its concentration. SOLUTION: The measuring method for a chlorous acid ion concentration is a method whose measuring time is shortened as compared with that in conventional cases in such a way that the chloride and the acid for pH-value adjustment and the metal ions or the metal compound ions having the oxidation force are added to the test water (2) and that the ClO2- in the test water (2) is changed into the ClO2 so as to measure the concentration of the ClO2.
