PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a heater for runner tube which is adaptable to produce an extra-small sized and extra-thin die casting product. SOLUTION: A device (C) for supplying molten metal in a die casting machine is provided with the runner tube (3) connected with a molten metal supplying pump (17) in a melting furnace (2) and having a built-in heater (4) for temperature control of the molten metal (5) in the inner part of the furnace and supplying the molten metal (5) into the die (1) for die casting. The heater (4) for runner tube (3) is divided into three zones so as to independently control to each zone, e.g. a heater part (8) for molten metal storing part, in which the temperature control of the molten metal storing part (7) continued to a nozzle part (6) of the runner tube (3), is performed, a heater part (15) for intermediate part, in which the temperature control of the intermediate part (13) from the molten metal storing part (7) to the melting furnace (2), is performed, and a heater part (14) for molten metal sucking part, in which the temperature control of the molten metal sucking part (12) continued to the intermediate part (13) and inserted into the melting furnace (2), is performed.
