PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of certainly forming an image on a desired surface of a recording medium. SOLUTION: In conveying the recording medium 1 stored in a storing part 2 to an image forming part, a detecting means 31 detects a frictional resistance difference between front and back surfaces of the recording medium 1, and, based on the frictional resistance difference detected by the detecting means 31, a determining means determines whether or not the recording medium 1 is stored in the storing part 2 with a predetermined surface directed upward. |
