The invention relates to a method for producing flange plates, especially wheel carrier plates (1) for motor vehicles. According to the invention, pre-holes, especially threaded pre-holes (3), are made, especially punched, in a continuous strip of sheet metal having a pre-definable thickness. Said pre-holes are perforated in a later working step, essentially all other required holes (2-4) being punched simultaneously or staggered in time. The outer contour of the flange plate is cut out in at least one further working step, and chamfers (7) are then formed on the contour of the flange plate and, as required, on pre-definable holes (2-4). |
