<p>A cassette (10) for holding an electrophoretic gel, having improved uniformity of thickness of gel comprising two planar walls (20, 30), spacer means (12, 14) to define a gel receiving space between the inner faces of the plates when opposed leaving the upper and lower ends of the cassette open and the sides closed. Locking means (24, 25) are integrally formed with at least one of the walls to prevent the locking engagement of the walls together unless the opposed inner faces are in parallel planes.</p> |
