The two visors (4,5) are secured each side of the helmet by a support frame (2) with and inward facing pivot stub (8). This has a slit (9) gripped by a radial slider (23) to lock the visors onto the helmet. The outer contour of the visors and the mounting is smooth. The outer visor has a scratch resistant construction while the inner visor has an anti-misting coating. The slider is spring loaded into the locking position. A ratchet grip (12) holds the visors in selected positions.
