PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cationic electrodeposition coating composition capable of forming coating film with high throwing power and good smoothness. SOLUTION: This cationic electrodeposition coating composition is obtained by compounding a water-dispersed paste prepared by mixing/dispersing a formulation comprising a layered carbonaceous compound <=5μm in the maximum particle size, a magnesium silicate-based extender pigment, a dispersing resin and deionized water.
