PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to obtain a three-dimensional image in an easy manner by arranging a control unit between a fluorescent film screen and shadow mask so as to deflect the electron beam passed through the shadow mask to a specific landing surface. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises a face panel(2) having a screen portion(2a) with an inner surface where a plurality of first landing surfaces and second landing surfaces are inclined at a predetermined angle; a fluorescent film screen(10) for forming R, G, and B fluorescent films at the inner surface of the screen portion; an electron gun(16) for emitting electron beams to the screen film screen; a shadow mask(12) opposed to the fluorescent film screen, and which has a plurality of beam passage apertures corresponding to the first and second landing surfaces; and a deflection unit including a pair of conductive members opposed to each other between the fluorescent film screen and shadow mask, with the beam passage apertures formed between the conductive members. The deflection unit deflects electron beam to a specific landing surface in accordance with the voltage signal applied to each conductive member.
