PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control character information and picture information to prescribed sizes and to display them on the display part of a terminal for obtaining information via a network by using the portable telephone terminal connected to the network and displaying information on the display part of the terminal. SOLUTION: In a network system where the portable telephone terminal 1 is connected to the network 6 via a radio telephone network 3, a mediation server 5 is connected to a service provider's server 4 connected to the radio telephone network 3. A display data control means 22 is arranged in the mediation server 5. The display sizes of character information and picture information are changed by operating the terminal 1 and work information whose display state is changed is displayed on the display part 20 of the terminal 1.
