STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING COASTAL EROSION AND EMBANKMENT CONSTRUCTION WORKING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A structure for preventing coastal erosion and method for constructing an embankment with the structure are provided to prevent seashore from being washed away by tide and soft ground from locally sinking to protect nature. CONSTITUTION: The structure(10) comprises a support matt(100) widely spread on upper portion of a seashore after completely leveling the seashore in order to prevent partial settlement of a soft ground portion; a main body(200) made of polypropylene(PP) or polyester(PE) in a form of straighten tube; and at least one of port(300) at top side of the main body to introduce a filler consisting of dredged soil or contaminated soil by pumping the soil into the main body. The main body is formed in a mesh structure to discharge only water but to remain the filler inside to lead a rigid filling condition.
