PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cyanine dye compound and a high sensitivity silver halide photographic sensitive material containing the compound. SOLUTION: The compound represented by formula (1), wherein Dye1 is a first chromophore; Dye2 is a second chromophore; L1 is -G1-G2-G3-, -G1 and -G3- are each alkylene or alkyenylene, -G2- is a linking group having two or more of arylene, heteryllene and cycloalkylene groups in the linking chain; R1 is a dissociable group having a pKa of <=5; m1 is an integer of 1-5; m2 is an integer of 1-5; and m3 is an integer of 0-4, and the high sensitivity silver halide photographic sensitive material containing the compound are provided.
