POLYOLEFIN/POLY(OXYALKYLENE) TRIBLOCK COPOLYMER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polyolefin/poly(oxyalkylene) triblock copolymer having amphiphilic property as a means for utilizing a monodispersion polymer (oligomer) obtained by highly controlled thermal cracking of waste polymers. SOLUTION: A B-A-B type triblock copolymer constituted with a segment A consisting of a polymer chain having a recurring unit of an olefin monomer, obtained by subjecting a ring opening polymerization of an alkylene oxide onto a monodispersion polyolefin having a hydroxyl at both the terminals, and a segment B consisting of a poly(oxyalkylene) chain having a recurring unit of an oxyalkylene group obtained by the ring opening of an alkylene oxide is provided.
