PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device of abrasion or the like on a screw engaging part capable of detecting not only the degree of abrasion of an external thread or an internal thread on the screw engaging part but also a thrust load, and being manufactured inexpensively, and having safety function capable of surely preventing detachment of an intrinsic screw engaging part which may occur by any chance, and a simple structure. SOLUTION: Peripheral parts of two internal thread members 4, 11 having the internal threads 6, 15 to be screwed with the same external thread 7a are mutually coupled, and thereby some inner end part of the internal thread 15 of either internal thread member 11 is enabled to be elastically deformable in the axial direction of the external thread 7a independently of the other internal thread member 4, and a strain gage 14 for detecting deflection in the thrust direction of the inner end part is installed on either internal thread member 11.
