PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of evenly wiping and polishing a surface to be cleaned. SOLUTION: The floor brush 21 comprises a brush body 21 having a suction room 25 with a suction opening 23 extending in the left/right directions on the bottom and a connection pipe 22 attached nearly at the center in the left/ right directions of the brush body 21 and communicating with the suction room 25. In the floor brush body 21, raising fabrics 70 and 90 are attached to the bottom of the brush body 21 along the suction opening 23. The width of the raising fabrics 70 and 90 in the front/rear directions is wide at both ends of the brush body 21 and narrow at the center.
