PURPOSE: A humidifier of an air conditioner is provided to keep a room at a moderate humidity by preventing the spray of condensate water and promptly absorbing the dry saturated steam in air. CONSTITUTION: A humidifier(50) of an air conditioner comprises a humidifying pipe(52) and a preheating pipe(60) vertically prepared in an air conditioner, a drain pipe(58) formed at one end of the humidifying pipe to drain the condensate water in the humidifying pipe, a spray pipe(70) consisting of an inner pipe to discharge the steam in the humidifying pipe and an outer pipe to form a space with the inner pipe, and another drain pipe(78) formed at the lower end of the outer pipe to drain the condensate water in the preheating pipe. Simultaneous with the generation, the condensate water is drained promptly to prevent the spray of condensate water when steam is sprayed. Therefore, only the dry saturated steam is sprayed and absorbed in the air of a room.
