PURPOSE: A setting transfer device of a vertical cutter is provided to improve work efficiency and quality by performing cutting work in series in a short time with simple manipulation of a lever. CONSTITUTION: A clutch gear rotating in a direction by a clutch bearing is integrally fixed in a central shaft between a rack gear(4) and a handle(6) of a transfer table(2). A lever(24) is thread-connected to a thread hole of a protecting cap(22) covered on the outer face of the clutch gear. An end portion of the lever is connected to the clutch gear or separated from the clutch gear. A scale mark and a rail groove are formed on a case(40) of the rack gear. Position setting stoppers are fitted in the rail groove. One stopper is fixed on the starting point of rotation, and the other stopper is fixed on the final point of rotation. The stoppers control the rotational range of an indicator needle fixed on the protecting cap. When the lever is reciprocated once, materials are transferred accurately. Therefore, materials are cut promptly and accurately.
