PURPOSE: A cataplasm preparation containing a diethyl ammonium or sodium salt of diclofenac is provided, which exhibits superior percutaneous absorptivity, thus providing sufficient medical effects of the two diclofenac salts. In addition, the preparation is stable over time even at a high concentration of the diclofenac salts. CONSTITUTION: The cataplasm preparation contains 1 to 25% by weight of a diethyl ammonium or sodium salt of diclofenac, 1 to 50% by weight of an aqueous polymer, 3 to 60% by weight of a humectant and 10 to 80% by weight of moisture(purified water), based on the total weight of the cataplasm preparation. The preparation contains additionally one or more selected from an absorption accelerating agent, a forming agent, an irritation reducing agent, a drug action aid and a pH controller.
