<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladle refining apparatus in which the flow-in of the atmosphere is prevented and the oxidation is prevented by keeping the ladle at a positive pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure without using a specified vessel and the reduced refining can be performed under good condition while holding the atmosphere in the ladle to the reducing or non-oxidizing atmosphere, and powdery dust developed from the ladle refining apparatus can efficiently be collected. SOLUTION: In the ladle refining apparatus 1, the ladle 2 is covered by laying a water-cooling furnace cover 6 on the upper edge part 5 of the ladle 2 provided with a porous plug 4 at the bottom part 3 supporting and disposing graphite electrodes 8 penetrating the water-cooing furnace cover 6 with an electrode supporting facility 9 and performing the reduced refining to molten steel 10 with arc-heating. Then, the ladle refining apparatus 1 has the peculiarity, in which a dust collector hood 14 having the shape covering this ladle refining apparatus 1 and this electrode supporting facility 9 from the upper part is disposed so as to separate above the ladle refining apparatus 1 and the electrode supporting facility 9.</p> |
