PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium having the recording density with an equal capacity to that of a DVD-ROM as a large capacity medium. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium, the recording layer consists of two layers and recording and reproducing are performed by causing interdiffusion between the two layers by irradiation of laser light. The two recording layers are formed from different metals, and the diffusion coefficient of the different metals up to 1000 K is specified to >=5×10-5 m2/s. |
