PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a light emitting display device having a surface light emitting display screen using conventional LED light emitting bodies such that a large number of LED light emitting bodies are necessary which is a drawback from the viewpoint of cost and power consumption, that a large size screen of the surface light emitting display is difficult to manufacture, that a frame such as a reflection frame is necessary due to the structure and that a large size surface light emitting display device is not obtained by connecting a plurality of display devices. SOLUTION: A rather bright and uniform surface light emitting display device can be obtained by using a smaller number of LED light emitting bodies than a conventional method by sealing the LED light emitting bodies in a resin containing a diffusing agent while directing the light emitting faces of the LED bodies to the opposite side of the surface light emitting display screen. By molding the outer shape of the product from the resin containing the diffusing agent, the dimension of the surface light emitting display screen can be made equal to the outer dimension of the molded body, and therefore, a large size surface light emitting display device can be manufactured by connecting a plurality of the devices. |
