PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gearshift lever device capable of miniaturizing the gearshift lever, while preventing disengagement of gears. SOLUTION: The first shift-lock component 10 is fitted to be movable to the locking position in synchronism with select operation of the gearshift lever in the PARK(P) range and to be operable by the locking device only when the brake is not actuated in a locking position. The second shift-lock component 20 is fitted to be movable to the locking position in synchronism with the movement of the first component 10. Thus, the first component 10 when locked allows free select operation of the gearshift lever, whereas the second component 20 blocks shift operation of the gearshift lever.
