PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for finely lens grinding processing wherein shape accuracy is uniform and a desired radius of curvature can be obtained. SOLUTION: In the method for finely lens grinding processing by a grinding tool, i.e., a resin pellet, swinging movement has two stages as to its amount: at the first stage the tool is swung from 10 to 20% of the radius of the lens, and at the second one, it is more widely swung from 40 to 50% of the radius of the lens. Thus a lens having a spherical shape and the radius of curvature with high precision can be obtained.
