PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a process for producing a lens assembly which is capable of exactly assembling extremely small lens elements into a lens system when these elements become a part of lens arrays. SOLUTION: This process produces the lens assembly having the plural lens arrays having a plurality of small lenses and at least one space having plural holes. In such a case, this process for producing the lens assembly has a step of arranging the at least two lens arrays described above and the spacer described above in such a manner that the spacer exists between the two adjacent lens arrays, that the small lens of the one lens array of the two lens arrays overlaps on the small lens of the other lens array and that the holes described above exist between the small lenses, a step of forming the array assembly by fixing and mounting the lens arrays and the spacer to each other and a step of forming the assembly as a single assembly or dividing the assembly to form the plural individual lens systems. |
