<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric field sensor in which a sensitivity is greatly improved and a good directivity faithful to a direction of an optical waveguide is obtained. SOLUTION: The optical waveguide 1 of a form which merges light after branching the light is formed on an LiNbO3-X substrate 2 having an electrooptic effect. There is set an optical modulator having an electrode pattern 6 which serves both as a modulating electrode for changing a refractive index of the optical waveguide 1 after branching the light and as an antenna for guiding a voltage. The electrode pattern 6 is divided to divide capacity coupling of the modulating electrode and has the directivity parallel to the optical waveguide as the antenna.</p> |
