<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet universal service, which can be uniformly spread over a wide band and all over the country at low cost. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a high-speed distribution contents server 8 storing large capacity contents, contents server 9 storing comparatively small capacity contents, IP-VPN(virtual private network)/leased line 6 connected with the high-speed distribution contents server 8, Internet backbone 7 connected to the contents server 9, terminal 1 to be used by a subscriber, terminal adapter 2 connected to the terminal 1, high-speed communication path 4 and low-speed communication line 3 connected to the terminal adapter 2, and high-speed additional service center 5. According to distribution conditions concerning an attribute and/or data capacity and data quantity or the like based on the header of data, the high-speed additional service center 5 transmits down data transmitted from the IP-VPN/leased line 6 and the Internet backbone 7 either to the high-speed communication path 4 or to the low-speed communication line 3.</p> |
