PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise label and a merchandise label printing device for printing the merchandise label which can save a space for displaying the processing time of a merchandise. SOLUTION: The processing time period of an objective merchandise is divided into a plurality of partial processing time periods beforehand to prepare a conversion table for each partial processing time period corresponding to different time period codes TC. The codes TC has a display length which is shorter than a time display. A time period code TC is determined corresponding to a partial processing time period, to which the processing time of an objective merchandise belongs. Then, the determined time period code TC is printed on a merchandise label.
