PURPOSE: A laser apparatus is provided to modify a shape of an exciting light source for supplying energy as to emit light through laser medium, thereby increasing focusing efficiency of photon pumped through the laser medium. CONSTITUTION: A laser apparatus comprises a laser medium(20) for absorbing energy and then emitting an amplified light and an exciting light source(30) outside the laser medium for supplying energy to emit a light through the laser medium. The light source spaces out from the outer circumferential of the laser medium with some interval so that the photon emitted from the light source is uniformly focused on the entire outer circumferential. Outside the light source is formed a housing(10) for receiving the light source and laser medium. An air pipe(60) at the housing is connected with cooling device, and a power supply(50) with opposite sides of the light source.
