PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition, wherein of a rubber molding molded using the same, hardness, elongation, heat resistance and oil resistance are excellent, compression set is small, resistance to fluorohydrocarbon such as coolant that foaming, blister and crack are unlikely to generate although placed under an environment at 150 deg.C is excellent and stability of vulcanization and pressing to metal is also enhanced, and provide an oil seal member using the same. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for molding the oil seal member contains bound acrylonitrile in an amount of 30 to 40 wt.%, H-NBR of 100 pts.wt. with iodine number of 7 to 16 and Mooney viscosity of 70 to 150, carbon black of 40 to 80 pts.wt., liquefied polybutadiene of 1 to 10 pts.wt. containing 1,2-vinyl bond of 85% or more, phthalate series an/or sebacate series plastizer of 1 to 10 pts.wt. and organic peroxide of 2 to 10 pts.wt. The oil seal member using the same is also provided.
