PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy documental rewriting type recording medium and a sure and easy recording method by a method wherein the difficulty of the setting of printing directions in perfecting documents over a plurality of pages coming into question when a writing type recording medium used by perfecting is used as a recording medium for general document. SOLUTION: In this documental rewriting type recording medium, in which a rewritable recording layer is provided on both the sides of a substrate, marks indicating the recording direction of an image are provided on the medium.
