<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method for organic wastewater, capable of efficiently and stably solubilizing sludge at a low cost in the case that the organic wastewater is purified by biological treatment, thereby decreasing the amount of generated surplus sludge. SOLUTION: In this treating method for organic wastewater, after treating organic wastewater 14 in a biological treatment tank 15, the treated liquid is subjected to solid-liquid separation and then the separated water is discharged as treated water 18, and the separated sludge 19 is returned to the biological treatment tank 15 after subjecting a part or all of the sludge to solubilization treatment 5. The solubilization treatment 5 is carried out after the sludge to be solubilized is subjected to dehydration 21 beforehand and then subjected to dilution 13 for adjusting the sludge concentration to a level suitable for the solubilization treatment.</p> |
