PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate authenticating processing and to shorten the time or the time difference required for authenticating. SOLUTION: The time, when an authentication request is accepted from an authentication target person, is recorded by a statistic processing means 11. In an analyzing processing means 12, concerning each of authentication target persons from the time of the authentication request, it is calculated how many times authentication is requested within the time zone and the characteristics of the request time are analyzed from the time zone of high authentication request frequency. In a generating/adding processing means 13, retrieval order information for retrieving fingerprint information is generated. Corresponding to the time at which the authentication request has been accepted, the fingerprint information of the authentication target person is retrieved and the fingerprint is collated by a collation processing means 14. |
