<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cell loss caused at system changeover regardless a part of a specific cell is lost without the need for provision of a buffer to a channel section. SOLUTION: First only an incoming cell route to an ATM switch section is switched to a SBY(standby) side ATM switch section 2b, and specific cells are sent to an ATM application section 3 from an input output channel section 1 via an ACT(active) side ATM switch section 2a. The ATM application section 3 returns them to the input output channel section 1 via the ACT (active) side ATM switch section 2a. When the input output channel section 1 confirms the reception of the head specific cell, an outgoing cell route from the ATM switch section is also switched to the SBY(standby) side ATM switch section 2b.</p> |
