PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying nozzle and a drying device having the drying nozzle in which saturated water vapor near the surface is removed at the time of drying aqueous coated film, an efficient drying can be carried out, it can be adapted for occurrence of trouble such as paper cut and the like and then a coated film having a superior surface smoothness and a uniform film thickness can be attained. SOLUTION: There is provided a drying nozzle 1 in which a slit-like air blowing nozzle 20 and a rod-like heater 10 are arranged in sequence in a vertical orientation in respect to a running direction P of a substrate 30 coated with coating liquid. The rod-like heater 10 comprises a carbon filament quartz glass middle-wave length infrared ray heater. A slit-like suction nozzle 40 is arranged in parallel with the rod-like heater 10.
