PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlled release agrochemical composition keeping coating membrane strength, able to slowly release an agrochemical active component into surrounding soil or water at a constant speed, and further leaving no materials giving environmental burden in the soil because the resin component decomposes after application. SOLUTION: The controlled release agrochemical composition comprises a biodegradable polymer having a component expressed by the formula (II): H(OCH2(CH2)m)nOH (II) (wherein, m=2-5; n=2-1,000) in a range of 0.1-20 (w/w)% in the main chain containing a structural unit expressed by the formula (I) (R is a 1-3C alkyl; and n is an integer of 0-4) in an amount of >=90 mol% and the agrochemical active component.
