PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device provided with an alignment device and to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: This paper sheet alignment device is provided with a paper sheet rear end press means having a staple tray 71 for stacking entered paper sheets P and a change-over gate 53, and pressing the floating of the rear end part caused by curl of the paper sheet P entered in the staple tray 71 by the change-over gate 53; and a mobile alignment means having a rear end plate 72 being movable in the front/rear direction of the paper entering direction, and pushing the rear end of the paper sheet P entered in the staple tray 71 by the rear end plate 72 so as to align the paper sheet P in the front/rear direction of the entering direction of the paper sheet P.
