The invention discloses a new polypeptide-human branched chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase E1-beta subunit 9, the polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide, and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant DNA technology. It also discloses methods of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various diseases, such as diabetes, organic acidemia, tumor, development disorder, inflammation, immune disorders and hemopathy. This invention also discloses antagonist against said polypeptide and thereof therapy uses. In addition, it refers to the use of said polynucleotide encoding this new human branched chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase E1-beta subunit 9. |
