PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the use of a shortened pencil until the last part of the same without any waste. SOLUTION: One end surface of the pencil is provided with a projected configuration and the other end surface of the same is provided with a recessed configuration. The projected part is fitted into the recessed part mutually and instant adhesive agent is applied into the fitting surface whereby the shortened pencil can be attached to the new pencil and the shortened pencil can be used like as a long pencil thereby permitting the shortened pencil to be used until the last part of the same.
