PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is the inconvenience that a washing machine main body can not be easily moved since the washing machine main body is lifted and carried by allowing all installation legs to leave a space from the installation surface at the time of installing a washing machine or moving it to another place in a conventional drum type drying and washing machine. SOLUTION: In the washing machine provided with the installation legs 19 on a bottom surface, casters 42 disposed so as to project in a horizontal direction are arranged on the rear lower end parts of the washing machine main body 1. Then, by lifting the front surface side of the washing machine main body 1 and tilting it backwards, the casters 42 are brought into contact with an installation surface and the washing machine main body 1 is supported only by the casters 42. In this state, since all the front and rear installation legs 19 are allowed to leave a space from the installation surface and the installation legs 19 are not in contact with the installation surface, moving is easily performed.
