PURPOSE: An English studying method using a phonetic symbol is provided to help a learner to accurately read English words, and to enable the learner to have a good command of English on the basis of accurate reading. CONSTITUTION: The English studying method using a phonetic symbol is comprised of the steps; reading and memorizing the phonetic symbols via various pictures; reading and memorizing the phonetic symbols via short sentences and long sentences; checking the accuracy of pronunciation via cross study by using a book organized by only the phonetic symbols and another book organized by only English words, thereby a learner can compare the difference between the English words and the phonetic symbols by oneself.
