PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst unit which can reduce the manufacturing cost of an air cleaner, etc., and is highly versatile. SOLUTION: An integral unit U is formed by arranging elements 11 carrying a photocatalyst in a plurality of stages and photocatalyst exciting lamps 12 among the elements 11 and attaching the elements 11 and lamp 12 to a frame 13. The unit U is attached to the air cleaner 1 by inserting the unit U into the main body casing 2 of the cleaner 1. Since the number of the units U attached to the cleaner 2 can be changed in accordance with required deodorizing capacities, the unit U has high versatility. |
