PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spheric capacitor, which can prevent the occurrence of stress concentration at part of the capacitor, when the capacitor is embedded in the body of a wiring board made of a resin, and so on. SOLUTION: The spherical capacitor which can prevent the occurrence of stress concentration at part of the capacitor is formed along the surface of a spherical core 10 by successively forming a first electrode layer 20, a dielectric layer 30, and a second electrode layer 40 on the surface of the core 10. The electrode section 22 of the first electrode layer 20 is exposed on the outside of the dielectric layer 30 and second electrode layer 40. In addition, the electrode section s22 and 42 of the first electrode layer 20 and the second electrode layer 40, formed as the uppermost layer on the core 10, are made connectable with an external electronic circuit.
